Growing up with story of ‘The beginning’ in Bhagawata, I was familiar with the birth of Lord Brahma. There was this deluge (fluid all around), out comes the stem from the naval of Narayana responsible to manage life on earth. The seed of life grows into giant illuminating lotus and there appears Lord Brahma.

Hmmm, who can relate to the imagery of long cord and at the end of it new life taking shape and form than female species?

Female womb is sacred. Its no coincidence that Temple core is called Garbh same as the womb of a lady. Womb is the ultimate source of shakti. If whole creation, the universe can be created from the womb of the nature, it can offer the same boons to us ladies who carry the womb power integrated in us. Not just for procreation but to achieve anything in life. First 4 vedas were born from first creation,  Brahma ji uttered the first verses without being taught – the spiritual powers, he created beautiful natural world around us to enjoy, he created remedies to restore us. Our womb power allows us all those powers - fertility, food, fun and all abundance in life we desire.

I am blessed with a child who understands me as if my Goddess. She arranged for my two weeks in island made of rose quartz. And it was a realignment of my self-image as a lady. We forget as we flow in river of life supporting our family that we are shakti and not attendant. We have miraculous yoni that brings out perfect new life on earth even if we can not supervise the life in making. and we have beautiful pair of breasts. They are divine to inject the life into newly formed human body. Recently, my daughter was invited by an insurance company to promote breast cancer awareness videos on her page. Is it not truly tragic that insurance companies have to remind us that we need to practice some self love and well being of our intimate parts? we disown part of our own body just because there is no one else to express love to us?! Is it not perfectly healthy that we start to acknowledge gratitude for having these assets that makes us complete for our role play in life.

We ladies are ignoring the potential to reset our biological clock through our yonis, yonis go through the pain of miscarriages, abusive relationships, endometriosis, neglected potential of pleasure, jeopardizing yoni health not knowing sexual habits of partners, childbirth, pregnancy, still birth, Caesarean delivery, PMT, IVF, HRT, abortions, menopause and lot more from emotionally unfulfilling relationship. We have found no means to heal the deep disturbances and wounds.  Then there is whole area of maintaining polarity and flow of energy in female body.

Sisters, Never punish yourself for karmas of omission and commission of others. Love your womanhood irrespective of all of it. Love your whole self. We are complete and perfect.

Lesson from Laoshi

So I went back to the island to spend few days to be in warmth of my child and do some activities. What would I fancy?! I wondered. Its no fun doing yog postures half hearted. I cant stand discourses now a days.

Aah, Qi gong. Yes, let me learn this. It was just right sort of activity. I am good at visualizing and i believe in energy remedy.  Master class from world renowned Laoshi of Chi practices sounds like real treat.

Laoshi silently comes and practices his own energy rituals. The entire class is so silent. Infact i find more stillness of mind in western seekers than myself. So Laoshi conducts the entire class. Offers golden nuggets for chi harnessing.

1. Total Stillness of mind and enagage in dynamic body movement.
2. No tension in any part of body. One by focus and relax.
3. Opening of joints. Without opening of joints hi can not flow through body. So when we joint rotation stretches always razorsharp focus.
4. There is no need to visualize, just tune in to . Becoming so still and silent allows hightened senses.

Laoshi is smiling, small bulit and young. He now invites everyone around him to sit closer in circle for demo. Witnessing about half a dozen demo was magical.

He asked  big built muscular gentleman to push him against the wall. Responding muscular force with muscle will never work. But watch how the chi works.. he places palms on his elbow to sense and direct his chi, makes inner shift in his chi and by simply nudge easily pushes the guy away.

He places his hand on the floor and asks 2 participants to places their 4 hands to grab his. They are actually holding his chi and by shifting chi, there will not be anything to hold on to. He shifts his chi to other hand high in the air and slowly, slides his hand out.

Now my own experiment.. hold bottom of one leg of the chair. Ground your chi well and lift the entire chair high. No i failed. The key is grounding. You must harness chi from up above and also let it hook you as deep as possible in mother earth for unshakable grounding. Aaah, i seee. I need some serious grounding  rituals then.

Only i hear waves of oceans and swishing air. Such power can be enjoyed with feather light body, smile, wordless exchanges.

Word of caution: all those who offer qi gong lessons are not connecting qell with chi no matter how graceful and arty body movements seem to be doing. Find genuine master like all other practices.

Floating Aum

Its Sun Sand and Sea and Spiritual seekers all around me. In fact, I wonder if I am qualified to be part of this island community?!

Some have jataajut hair but not sadhu, they are in lungi but not fakir, they are in 2 pieces but not beach babes.

Met some lovely souls from Chile, Peru to newzealand and sweden to sudan. It is a place for people of the whole world. And what brings them all in small piece of land is Aum. They are all seekers. Seek answers for life and living. Karma and dhayana, sadhna and sangeet, believe in veganism and vegetarianism. All want to hold compass in cobwebs, find anchor and practice stillness of mind and heal the hurts.

Its all but India. The chants are playing and its not by Indian musicians or devotees. Every other place run activities to feel your own core. Be it anaand tandava, kirtan, range of  practices from the brand Osho, Isha, AOL and more.

We Indians get confused when it comes to Osho. But there is thriving economy in name of brand Osho and its by non Indians.

Spiritual progress needs connection. Having phone and pressing buttons is of no use without service provider. No matter howmany practices we start and stop and change and experiment, it will not liberate us from agonies anxiety and anger.

And its not just this place. Any retreat on greek or spanish island, mountain in scotland, bahamas, forest of bavaria, temple in wales we find pure human confluence celebrating Aum.  Isn't it time Mother India takes these global brahmin kids in her fold?!  Isnt it time to host kumbh of different kind where whole eco system reaching sanatan dharma is facilitated. Music makers to yoga trainers, tantra to technology,  designing (jewllery, cloths, interior, accessories, mandala) to diet all come together!  Aum Shanti. May peace prevail in and around us all.

Come Combodia:

So I arrive at Suvarna-bhumi airport. It is warm feeling when we dont know the language but know the vocab, branding and meanings. They say Siam - derived from sanskrit word Shyam or Syam. For its slightly darker coloured tribes! I found thai people quite fairer. Shall we say thats why they changed the name to thailand not because of foreign invasions!?

Back to Suvarna -bhumi (golden land or land of gold). Such a beautiful name! India is was known as golden bird but it does not feature anywhere. Why all our airports are named after individual names of recent politicians rather than poetic names from ancient Bharat Varsh  that uplift psyche?

Anyhow, I continue my flight to Siem Reap to feel all the temple ruins of ancient India. People are gentler for sure. They end the sentence as if singing lullaby! We Indians are little too competitive and loud at times i feel. The King Jayavarman is everywhere revered and found only in meditative pose - so calm. Reminds me of Raj Rishi Janak. The entire population devoted their entire resources for temple building. And large proportion of tourist visiting are non hindus. And here we are intellectual Indians evaluating whether we deserve one and only Rama temple in his birth place Ayodhya!. Well, thailand has its own Ayuthya and they have gilded Rama and Ramayana with gold on walls everywhere. They have roads and building in name of Rama. Why do Indians need to justify their authentic heritage, I wonder!

Mother India can be custodian of Indic people. Buddhist removed shiva and vaishnavite symbolism from temples to only some extent. It is impossible to erase stories of epics mahabharat engraved i  stones. Linage of same dynasty try to revive shiva temples but only in patchwork. communist Pot pol wanted communism and killed lakhs of its own people.   (who backed him china or Russia? If yes then why cambodia has chinese chamber of commerce and stores promorting chinese products and sign posts in chinese? How would I understand complexity of world politics I am only stay at home mum?! ) Civil war as a result of brutal communist regime made cambodians to steal their own art and destroy exquisite artworks but lot still stands and is mesmerising. The buddhist young monks are respected and offered bhiksha by everyone they visit with proper naman silently. Some amazing monestries to be felt. As compare to bhikshuk saints in modern India where they are shooed away most of the times. When my PM says its Buddhism to play role in world peace I understand.

In cambodia, the convenient currency is US dollar due to their economy going down counting and currency exchange is difficult. I have nothing against USA but would it not be easier for entire Asia to have single currency like euro dollar? If we consider individuals hands doing financial transactions and trade must be way higher in Asia than in Europe and America combined. Asian dollar will rule the waves!

Unite enire Indian subcontinent, lets prosper together and take pride in commonality. Let the lion of Durga roar to drangons.
